About This Site
This site's purpose is to explain problems caused by WYSIWYG editors and to propose solutions. When writing with a WYSIWYG editor, the edit view is a live preview of how the document will look when it is saved. This is the familiar standard practice for office software like word processors. But it's not a perfect solution, or a suitable one for all uses. Sometimes there are small irritations, sometimes catastrophic results.
